BOARD SNAPS
Hands down
Toe drags Beaming the camera or the super-quick-push-that-you-didn't-actually-need-a-millisecond-after-landing-on-your-board are all pretty heart-breaking ways to roll-away from a trick. But you have to give it up for any make really, they all feel fucking amazing regardless of the crime committed. But there is a rare roll-away that doesn't get much airplay: it can't really be faked, it usually ends in disaster and even the best skaters occasionally follow their gut reaction and simply jump off when they hear the snap. However, in those golden moments where it all comes together - the board-snap roll-away is a thing of aesthetic greatness. This is definitely not a definitive compilation (as I am sure there are loads we have missed), but we wanted to give some to love to the humble and heavenly board snap. Please feel free to comment on any more you can think of that we forgot. P.s shout out to Drake and the switch 3flip at Embarcadero on a broken board, but we were looking for visible and primary snap roll-aways here. Follow Muckmouth on Instagram
