BAREFOOTLee Ralph's story is the dream to millions of skateboarders worldwide. The dream of being a professional skateboarder and the journey from the first moment you step on a skateboard to achieving that ultimate goal. In the 1980s, there were just a handful of professional skateboarders, who were almost exclusively based in California. The unlikely journey from a small town in New Zealand to skating with the best in the world was the impossible dream that Lee Ralph lived... and just at the moment when he looked set to dominate the entire sport, a series of unfortunate events forced him back to New Zealand as quickly as he had arrived. His rise to fame and subsequent disappearance have since become skateboarding folklore, with skateboarders around world still wondering 'What happened to Lee Ralph?'.
